Frequently Asked Questions

When does the course start?
Due to the Coronavirus epidemic, the start of the course has been delayed but you can request to join the waiting list.

When are the live teaching sessions and Q&A's and how do I join them?
We will update those on the waiting list once we have dates for the next course. The live sessions are run on Zoom.
How much support will I get from Dr Alice Brown?
The course is a combination of taught modules and activities, an interactive community where you can share your experiences and learn from others in the group, and guidance from Dr Brown in the live group sessions. On the live sessions, Dr Brown will respond to questions that you have about the course and the activities you have been completing. Dr Brown will also spend some time encouraging discussions in the group.

What if I want individual support?
It is not possible to provide individual psychological advice without having assessed your personal circumstances. The course is intended to be educational and while information and strategies will be shared, it is not possible to give individual advice. If you would like individual support, it is possible to have 1:1 support running alongside the course. Email to find out more.

I'm not very good with technology, will this be a barrier to me doing the course?
Support will be available to make sure the technology doesn't stop you from completing the course. There is some setup required for Zoom, so do ask for help well before the live call if you are unsure about using Zoom.

Why are you offering the course at a discounted price?
This is the first time the course is running online and there may be some hiccups with the technology. Your patience is appreciated! The price has been lowered accordingly. You will also be invited to give feedback and participate in an evaluation of the programme.

What if I change my mind or decide the course isn't for me?
Before the course starts you may request to cancel at any time. Once the course has commenced, the Consumer Contracts Regulations state that if you buy an online course and then change your mind within the 14-day time period, you should be refunded a proportionate sum but could be charged for any admin or material costs and the amount of teaching time you used. The Wellbeing Treehouse wants everyone to be happy with the services provided. If you have any issues, get in touch as soon as possible so that they can be resolved.
